This summer, we hosted two rising seniors from Sac Charter High School for an 8 week research experience! During the program, the students used CRISPR to knockout genes of interest in zebrafish embryos, used imaging data to assess phenotypic changes, and created visualizations of their findings. At the end of the summer, both scholars presented their work at the Sac Charter Summer Research Symposium!
